Coming Out of the Wood Works

I didn't get a chance to post these pieces before the show but they were my contribution to the "Coming Out of the Wood Works" event held by Guilty Studios in March. It was required that whatever was done was on wood. I used oil on wood- which turned out to be kinda difficult to control. When considering what I should do subject matter wise, I thought fire was perfect because when else will you see wood on fire but not burning? Ok, well, I thought it was pretty clever...
