2015 Wrap Up

It’s hard to believe that there are only 2 days left in the year!  I’ve been so consumed with work, finding it and keeping it, that i have neglected my writing and drawing practices.
On a positive note, I have:
+Married my BEST FRIEND (and target of all my pranks!)
+Honeymooned in Carmel-by-the-Sea
+Prop Designed and Production Coordinated on Nick Jr’s “Fresh Beat Band of Spies”
+Production Coordinated on Disney’s “The 7D” (Season 2 begins airing SATURDAY, JANUARY 23 (9:30 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD!)
+Pitched 3 TV show ideas to Disney (they also passed- but let’s focus on the positive!)
+Heard a line I wrote performed by Billy West, Scott Menville, and Kevin Michael Richardson (I’m geeking out even now!)
+Started two podcasts: “Ink and Paint Girls” and “Jammiest Bits of Jam”
+Volunteered with Camp Reel Stories; produced the documentary “What if?”
+Sold my art at Hellacon (my first convention as a seller!)
+Star Wars movie marathon at the theatre on opening day: 1AM to 10PM!  A ridiculously good day- wouldn’t have done it differently… but might have taken the day after off so I could sleep!
This is a highlight list.  There were also some weeks where I was miserable and questioning what the hell I was doing.  Maybe that’s a positive, though.  It means I’m growing.
I like to take stock of the positives, acknowledge the negatives, and make a plan to move ahead.  What do I want more of?  Less of?  I want more writing, more comics, more exploring California, and ultimately to make more things!  Including memories.
Happy New Year!
